CLINICAL INTERESTS
Plasma cell disorders, lymphoproliferative disorders, leukaemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative disorders, haemostasis and thrombosis, and clinical research.
Gajan is a dual trained clinical and laboratory trained haematologist who grew up in the Hills district and obtained his higher school certificate from James Ruse Agricultural High School. He graduated from medicine at the University of New South Wales in 2009 before proceeding to complete his junior medical training at Westmead, Blacktown, Auburn, Orange, Bathurst and Coffs Harbour hospitals. Gajan then undertook specialist haematology training through Westmead, Blacktown and Nepean Hospitals. Following this Gajan then undertook post fellowship training under the mentorship of Professor Judith Trotman at the haematology clinical research unit at Concord Repatriation General Hospital – the largest in NSW. He went on to gain consultant experience at both Concord and Lismore Hospitals.
Gajan is currently appointed as a staff specialist at Blacktown and Mt Druitt Hospitals. With the skills and insights gained during his post fellowship training, Gajan now heads the clinical research program at Blacktown Hospital and endeavours to provide haematology patients in northwest Sydney with cutting edge treatment options. He is also the clinical lead for myeloma and related plasma cell disorders and helped establish a myeloma multidisciplinary meeting across Westmead and Blacktown Hospitals.
Outside of work Gajan is a devoted husband and father. He enjoys food, travel, strategic video/board games and sports such as AFL, cricket, soccer and golf.
Gajan prides himself on being relatable and empathetic and delivering compassionate health care to his patients. He is available for consultations on Wednesdays.

CLINICAL INTERESTS
Lymphoproliferative disorders, plasma cell disorders, myeloproliferative disorders, myelodysplastic syndromes, red cell disorders, thrombosis and haemostasis, and medical education.
This included provision of an outreach lymphoma service to Guernsey, in the Channel Islands. Whilst overseas, Julianne completed further postgraduate studies, graduating from the University of Oxford with a Master of Science in Precision Cancer Medicine in 2023.
Julianne is currently a Haematology Staff specialist at Blacktown at Mt Druitt Hospitals where she is the clinical lead for low grade lymphoma. She also serves as the co-director of Junior Medical Officer training and is a conjoint lecturer at Western Sydney University Medical School.
Julianne enjoys keeping active, watching live sport and music, travelling and spending time with friends and family.
Julianne is passionate about clinical and laboratory research which facilitates the development of targeted testing and treatment, as per a ‘precision medicine’ based approach to patient care.

Leukaemia and myeloid disorders including myelodysplastic syndrome and myeloproliferative neoplasms, lymphoproliferative disorders, plasma cell disorders, thrombosis and haemostasis, and medical education.
Kenny is currently a Haematology Staff Specialist at Blacktown and Mt Druitt Hospitals. He is also the clinical lead for acute leukaemia and is leading the implementation of an acute leukaemia service at Blacktown Hospital. Kenny is actively involved in clinical trials and medical education. He is passionate about teaching medical students, junior doctors and haematology trainees and is a conjoint lecturer with Western Sydney University Medical School.
Outside of work, Kenny enjoys good food and coffee, running, high intensity interval training, and travelling.
Kenny believes in clear communication and a collaborative approach, and is committed to delivering holistic, compassionate, and evidenced-based care to his patients. He is available for consultations on Thursdays.
